What Should I Do If I Suspect My Dog Has CRGV?
Contact your vet immediately. The earlier the disease is suspected, the sooner treatment can be started. Your vet will decide the best course of action for your dog, and this will involve management of the skin sores, and if it has developed, the sudden onset kidney failure. Dogs who develop kidney failure (which is called acute kidney injury) will need much more intensive management and your vet may recommend referring your pet to a specialist.
